Of course the error message needs to be more esplicative.  I'm working at

The bug Alessandro is talking about was fixed in 1.3.4.  Can you describe
what differs from your expectations?  Please note that MBDyn honors the
types it knows, so if you perform operations using for example integers
you may have unexpected results depending on how you order or group
operations.  So  "real x = 2/3" will be "0.0" because "2/3" is performed
between integers, and the integer result will be assigned to a real, and
things like this.
